The mission of the Pfizer Research Technology Center (RTC) in Cambridge Massachusetts is to apply innovative science to validate novel drug discovery targets and approaches for Pfizer R&D. Our teams here apply cutting-edge techniques and technologies with broad applications across different therapeutic areas.
Located in one of the richest scientific environments in the world, RTC is surrounded by more than 300 biotechnology companies and thousands of scientific innovators in world-leading research hospitals and academic institutions. A key element in our success here is the growing and dynamic portfolio of partnerships with our neighbours in order to address the strategic needs of the site and Pfizer’s research division.
Here, we balance the strength of Pfizer R&D with the nimble feel of a small biotech. This creates an exciting and team-based scientific environment for 150 colleagues, with a wide range of scientific skills and experience. With the emphasis on collaboration, most scientific questions are solved through the work of a cross-disciplinary team.
